Daily Update for Truman Lake for 6/18/19

Current Truman Lake Level:735.31

Truman Lake drop from maximum crest to date: 4.54’

Current CFS Release:50,000 cfs

Projected CFS releases and date: 50,000 cfs  June 19 ,2019

The current lake level projections are with no additional rain.  Releases from Truman Dam can change with minimal notice.  

Area information:

The road across the dam will open later today, REMINDER: Do not stop on the dam for any reason.

Drake harbor and boat ramp are open.

East Bledsoe Ferry areas open.  

Berry Bend high water ramp is the only open USACE access to Truman Lake.

No evacuations required at this time.

Expect releases to remain at 50,000 cfs for several days.

All USACE camp grounds closed with the exception of a portion of the Thibaut Point camp ground.

Road across Truman Dam closed till further notice.

USACE personnel will continue to monitor the project and equipment as per standard operating guidelines. 

The Dam is operating as designed.

Safety information:

Floating debris on the lakes is a major safety concern.  Wear your pfd and be very cautious on the water.
