Truman Lake continues to drop slightly

Releases are temporarily stepped back due to river conditions at Herman.
As releases from Truman Dam increase Lake of the Ozark water level will rise and current will increase. Secure and check docks, boats and personal property on or near the water.
The current lake level projections are with no additional rain. Releases from Truman Dam can change with minimal notice.
The Dam is operating as designed.

No evacuations required at this time.
Please take this time to prepare for higher releases. Secure docks, boats etc.
Drake harbor and boat ramp will be open till release conditions dictate its closure.
July 4th fireworks location changed from the dam to Drake Harbor.
All USACE camp grounds closed with the exception of a portion of the Thibaut Point camp ground.
Berry Bend high water ramp is the only open USACE access to Truman Lake.
Road across Truman Dam and East Bledsoe Ferry areas closed till further notice.
Truman Dam and Levy system under 24 surveillance and increased inspections as per their standard operating procedures. Expect to see increase in USACE personnel in and around their facilities.
Safety information:
Floating debris on the lakes is a major safety concern. Wear your pfd and be very cautious on the water.

We only receive updates from the Army Corps when releases are above normal flow. Thank you for your comment.
