Thanks to a couple of hardworking BC ARES volunteers, the Benton County Emergency Communications Trailer is a step closer to completion!
Benton County, MO Amateur Radio Emergency Service Assistant Emergency Coordinator Ken Vining and BC ARES member John Bell installed the remainder of the wiring and framed in the wall which will separate the operations section of the trailer from the extra equipment section.
The Em Comm trailer will carry safety equipment, BC MO CERT packs, and haz mat cleanup items so it can be used for multiple purposes if it is deployed within our county.
The next meeting of the BC ARES Trailer Team will be on March 15th at 10 AM at Deputy Director Sam Henley’s home. At the next meeting, the wall will be completed, the door will be built and installed, and insulation will begin. If you are interested in becoming a member of the trailer team, please Contact Us!
