City of Lincoln ordinance: As everyone knows 4th of July is quickly approaching and this weekend a lot of residents are going to be wanting to get fireworks and light them off. The City is just wanting to let the Lincoln residents know that a new fireworks ordinance was passed on June 11th, 2018. This ordinance will allow the Lincoln residence to discharge fireworks from sun up to midnight on July 3rd, 4th, and 5th. If fireworks are discharged on the days and times not allowed, the Police Department will respond to the location that the fireworks are being discharged and give a warning to the owner of the location. If Law Enforcement responds to that address a second time the owner of the location will be issued a summons for unlawfully discharging fireworks in the City limits of Lincoln. We hope everyone has a fun and safe 4th of July. ~Per the Lincoln, MO Police Department.
